How to build habits that don’t burn you out.
There’s a lot of pressure these days to “win the morning” before you’ve even had a chance to wake up.
You scroll Instagram and see women pouring matcha in perfect lighting, writing 3 pages in a gratitude journal before sunrise, meditating, cold plunging, collagen-scooping… and you think:
“If I could just do all that—I’d feel better.”
But let me gently say something I wish someone had told me years ago:
It’s not the routine that changes everything. It’s the rhythm you can actually keep showing up for.

when wellness becomes another weight
We’ve bought the idea that the more complex your routine, the more committed you must be.
That if you’re not stacking 7 biohacks by 7 am, you must not want it badly enough.
But for most busy women — for many moms, grandmas, caregivers, coaches, working professionals — complicated routines are more triggering than transformational.
We’re not lacking hustle. Most of us have been running on hustle for a decade.
We’re lacking margin. Margin to rest. Margin to receive.
Margin for support that actually works inside your real life.
Because complexity ≠ consistency.
And consistency is where change actually happens.
what are “biohacks,” really?
Maybe you’ve heard the word tossed around before and felt a little unsure about what it actually means — or why it seems to include things like blue light glasses, cold plunges, and butter in coffee.
“Biohacking” is a trendy term that basically means trying to “hack” your body’s biology — usually through science-based lifestyle tweaks or tools — to boost things like energy, focus, metabolism, or sleep.
Some common examples include:
- Cold plunges or contrast showers
- Red light therapy
- Wearing blue light blocking glasses at night
- Intermittent fasting schedules
- Tracking sleep or blood sugar with a wearable
- Starting your day with adaptogens, nootropics, or mushroom coffee
- Optimizing your circadian rhythm with morning sunlight exposure
- Taking certain supplements in a specific order and time window
Some of these things can be helpful, even healing, when done with wisdom and purpose.
But for a lot of people — especially women who are already tired, overwhelmed, or inflamed — it can become just another set of hoops to jump through.
Because here’s the truth:
➡️ If you’re waking up tired and stressed to cram in 6 biohacks before 8am… is it really wellness? Or is it performance disguised as self-care?
Healing doesn’t have to be complicated.
It just has to be consistent.
what a “routine” looks like when you’re depleted
If you’re tired all the time, or feel one breath away from burnout, you don’t need more steps.
You need nourishing simplicity.
You need repeatable rhythms.
You need support that doesn’t ask for 60% of your already-gone energy.
Here’s what our mornings look like now (in real life—not on a Pinterest board):
- We wake up and take Gold in our coffee or in warm water. It supports inflammation and blood sugar, without the crash.
- Kim drinks Balance while packing lunches or checking in with the kids — 50 fruits + veggies in one glass that doesn’t taste like grass.
- Mike uses Adapt or Brew depending on the day — both help his brain calm, reset, and focus (after years of playing + coaching football, that support matters).
- Sometimes, we do get quiet with our Bibles. Sometimes we pray in the car. Sometimes it’s both.
Nothing fancy.
Just functional, loving support that fits into real rhythms.

tips for starting your day if you’re tired of trying to “do more”
If wellness has started feeling like a part-time job… it’s okay to take a different path.
Here’s what sustainable health might look like:
✅ One product that fills a real gap (instead of 7 you forget to take)
✅ A 3-minute check-in with your body: Am I anxious or hungry? Am I hydrated at all?
✅ Swapping judgment for curiosity — instead of “I messed up,” ask: “What does my body need today?”
✅ Linking wellness to living — not to rules
You weren’t called to perform perfection.
You were created for peace, clarity, and energy to live fully.

my encouragement for you, from one kind soul to another:
- You do not need to earn your rest.
- Your body is worth supporting — even when it doesn’t “look” sick.
- You don’t need a 10-step plan to start. You just need one gentle next step.
Let’s take that step together.
Whether that’s finally giving your mornings some support with Gold, or simplifying your routine with the Accelerate Trio, or just giving yourself permission to slow down without apology…
You’re not behind.
You’re not “failing” at health.
You’re listening — and that matters more than any routine.
